Cases of COVID-19 infections in Oxford City’s cases are now in the top 10 of the country and the highest in the South-East so it’s vitally important that as many people aged 18 and over get a vaccination as soon as possible.
The NHS has opened a number of walk-in clinics in Oxford as part of ‘grab a jab’. No appointment or ID is needed:
Iffley Road Sports Centre, Iffley Road, Cowley, Oxford OX4 1EQ
Tuesday 6 July – Thursday 8 July 2021 from 9.30am to 7.30pm
Friday 9 July from 9.30am to 6pm
Oxford University Club, Mansfield Road, Oxford OX1 3SZ
Friday 9 July from 9am to 8pm
East Oxford Health Centre, 2 Manzil Way, Cowley, Oxford OX4 1GE
Saturday 10 July 2021 from 9am to 5pm
These walk-in clinics are for first does only. People who attend a walk-in clinic for their first dose will have their vaccination record updated online and can book in their second dose appointment (for around 8 weeks later) using the national booking system.
Anyone aged 18 or over can also book a vaccination on the national booking service (no need to wait to be invited).
