Requesting Repeat Prescriptions

You can order your repeat prescriptions in the following ways:

1- Download the NHS App on your phone. You’ll be asked to upload a proof of ID,  a proof of address and a video of yourself. NHS Digital will complete the validation process and you’ll be granted access to your medical records and be able to order repeat prescriptions.  Please visit https://www.nhs.uk/using-the-nhs/nhs-services/the-nhs-app/ on instructions of how to download the app.

The  Berinsfield pharmacy’s current turnaround time for prescriptions received via email or on paper format is now 4 working days. Other pharmacies may have different turnaround times.

The Berinsfield Pharmacy will prioritise repeat prescriptions received via the NHS App over prescriptions received through other methods.

2- Use Emis Online (Patient Access) – Only if you have already registered with this service.

3- Send a secure email to the surgery – berinsfield.prescriptions@nhs.net

4- Paper Prescriptions– Please leave your repeat prescription request at either of the post boxes in the Health Centre.  There is one at the entrance and there will be another one soon in the waiting room.  All prescriptions received until midday will be processed in the same day. All prescriptions received afterwards will be processed on the following working day.
