As the COVID-19 situation has developed we have seen our community pharmacy colleagues begin to struggle under the demand for prescriptions.
Therefore, to support our colleagues please could we ask the following:
• Only request medication you need
• Allow extra time for the pharmacy to process your prescription request (allow a week at least to be safe)
• Place prescription requests responsibly. Do not order medications ‘just in case’ – this can lead pharmacies to run short of stock and create unnecessary waits for other patients
To assist colleagues without access to our online prescription service we have temporarily opened up the option to order your repeat prescriptions via our telephone service. Please note this will only be actioned if you do not already have access to our online prescription service. If you do not currently have access to this then if you bring some personal identification with you to the surgery, you can fill out the form and we can get you added to the system.
