Covid19 Update

Posted on July 14th, 2021

Dear All

In respect of the Covid19 relaxation rules, this doesn’t apply to the Health Centre.

As you may also be aware, case rates of COVID-19 locally in Oxford are very high – among the worst in the country currently. The city of Oxford has been granted additional government assistance to help tackle the surge in cases, particularly in the younger age groups, with additional PCR testing centres for 18-29 year-olds and more walk in vaccination centres for anyone over 18 who is not yet vaccinated.

Therefore, the guidance remains unchanged.

Facemasks

We are all required to wear a face mask at work unless you are at your desk in a COVID secure office, or eating and drinking at a social distance from other people as identified in your risk assessments. This applies to both clinical and non-clinical staff, to contractors, and anyone else working on our sites.

We also expect patients and visitors to our hospitals to continue to wear a face covering, unless those with  a sticker or lanyard indicating they cannot wear one.

Social distancing rules still apply.

Hand hygiene remains of paramount importance.

Testing – please carry on with using  lateral flow tests or ring 119 to book a PCR test if you have any Covid19 symptoms.

Kind Regards,

Berinsfield Health Centre
