Do you have Type 2 diabetes?

Would you like to learn more about your condition?

Then attend a diabetes education programme near you.

As part of a Oxfordshire-wide service all patients with Type 2 diabetes who are within can attend our diabetes education courses. There are 2 courses available:

• Diabetes2gether for those recently diagnosed or never attended a course
• Diabetes4ward our follow-on session

The main aim of the courses is to increase your understanding of diabetes by providing you with the skills and knowledge you need to manage your condition and live a healthy life. It is hoped that by attending both session you will be able to make changes to your lifestyle.

Sessions are 3-3.5 hours long and delivered by specialist diabetes educators. Group size is between 6 and 20, and you are welcome to bring someone along for support.

This is ran by Oxfordshire  Community Diabetes Service  and courses are offered at various locations across the county. All venues are on a bus route, have disabled access and parking at or nearby the venue.
